Good things happen when you are in the company of good people.
This is how I got introduced to create a "blog" for myself, today the 27th of February 2011. My friends' son, K. S. Ramanan, who is a very close friend of my first son Mohan, visited us yesterday evening with his wife Jyoti from Bangalore. The evening was spent mostly listening to the multi-facet experiences of Ramanan and his humorous narration of his career path and success story of wanting to become what he always wanted to but did not clearly know. Not to be left behind, I narrated my own experience of how at a very crucial stage in my life where I was the sole bread winner of the family consisting of the wife and 3 school going children, I faced the task of accepting the challenge of changing over to sales as a career at the prospect of loosing even 50 per cent of my monthly income, or perish into obscurity by continuing the desk job in some other department, how I somehow mustered the courage to say "yes" to my bosses to put me in field, and how I worked and became a success, realising later that that exactly was I was always wanting to do !
At this stage, Ramanan told me that "mama ji ...you should create a blog, and write about your experiences of life .... and that is how the very next morning, i.e., today, despite pressing engagement elsewhere, he took out
the time to explain to me how to go about creating the account ... and this is here I am with my first posting
in my own Blog, thanks to my grandson Vignesh who guided me at every step.
Here I am hoping to post many experiences to share with all of you.
